Yes, and the bridge and knob details are identical to the early Grecos and Crown guitars... wouldn't it shake us all up if it turned out to be Matsumoku?

I'm surprised the Rickenbacker police have let the auction run so long...they're usually pretty rabid about copies :)

he was wise and didn't mention the R-word, or even any cute variant of it, anywhere. THey'd have to be looking at every guitar auction to catch it.

True enough, they probably search for rickenbacker, ricky, and close variants only I'm sure.
If you want to get an auction pulled in a hurry, throw van halen or evh in it...his lawyer got my frankenstrat copy pulled in a hurry a couple of years ago...plus the bonus warning letter from Ed's lawyer :lol:
