This looks like a great guitar http://cgi.ebay.com/ELECTRA-WESTONE-SPECTRUM-FX-NECK-THRU-HEAL-ORIGINAL_W0QQitemZ130207648394QQihZ003QQcategoryZ47073QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
It appears as though either the nut is aftermarket, or there has been some damage where the neck and headstock meet. I'm personally betting it was the first one. It's kind of hard to discern, but maybe someone with better eyes then I can shed some light.

Dang that's a good price. If I didn't have one, I'd nab that in a minute.

I think the nut may be original. It's hard to say- it looks like what you see under the truss rod cover- looks to me like the locking nut has been moved backwards- not a bad idea, either.

Hi guys - that string lock looks to be in the right place for that model...

http://www.westone.info/spectrumfx.html

...looks to place a hellish strain on the low stings, eh!! I', looking for an SX or MX; the ones with the neck in the body colour - did Electra do them in the Phoenix?

Do you mean the ones that had painted fret boards in the same color as the bodies?

I've seen one in red and another in blue.
I think they look great and would like to get one myself.

Don't remember which models they were exactly since I was shocked at seeing a board painted in such a vivid color.

Found one:
Westone Concord SX
Every square inch is painted in see-thru blue.
http://www.westone.info/concordsx.html

Look at that beautiful wood grain peeking through the lacquer finish.

Same configuration as my black Westone Spectrum SX serial 4121139
with rosewood board and Bendmaster trem.
See pics at bottom of page in below link.

Looks like it also came in "painted all over" version
