These are usually bolt-on, if I remember correctly (I may not)...

Seller wants some serious cash, tho...

That one concerned me a bit. Most of them had set necks - at least the one in the catalog does. I have seen some with bolt on necks too - especially the "SG" shaped version. But this one had mini humbuckers and did not have the Electra inlayed on then headstock. I don't doubt for one second it came from the same factory, but I am not sure it was an electra. This even has the early headstock shape. All the ones I have seen had "Electra" on the hedstock and full-sized humbuckers. Maybe that is just the later ones?

Still - I could be - possibly an early version. I bet it actually was a generic one or had a brand name on the truss cover (why it may be missing). It was not uncommon back then to have guitars sold without any brand name on them - sold as "Kays", "Harmony", or other "generic" brands of the time.

Opinions?

Hmmm... I've definitely seen them with the mini-humbuckers, so that didn't surprise me. Also, I was wrong about most of them having bolt-on necks; I was getting the Super Magnum confused with the Studio Zephyr there.

I didn't even notice the headstock, though. Very early or non-Electra edition sounds like a good guess!
