I had one just about like this except that somebody grafted a "Gibson" emblem onto the headstock! It was a real basket case that I fished out of the back of a music store I hung out at. The headstock was broken and the first five frets were missing. I pieced it together as best I could with some direction from some that worked there.

It does bring back some memories though. I'd make an offer on it if they came back to reality and would accept something around $200!

Living in New York I have a bridge to sell to anyone who buys the first one, real cheap :D I think even the second one is overpriced given that it has a break in the headstock. It is within reason though. Hey I have come across people asking four and five hundred for trashed Tiescos. That is why I call it e-bong (along with my habit of taking an other hit by looking again and again) :P

The second one was snatched up pretty quick and at the buy it now price!

I'd like to find great deals at local pawn shops and throw them onto Ebay and watch the feeding frenzy but I get too attached to them!

Speaking of that, Have you looked at the workingman curently on Ebay?

Looks like it is in about the same condition as mine and the bidding is up to $120 and there is two days left!

I remember the Tiescos. They were pieces of junk back when they were new and are still shoddy! It is also amazing how everyone is trying to say that a guitar is built in Matsumoku just because it is "Made in Japan!"

Wow I got mine for $65 with case :) It was in almost new condition, I don't think it had ever been played but had picked up a scratch at some point. I thought prices would be dropping given economic conditions but so far that is not happening.

Yea people who had never heard of Matsumoku last year are now experts who are sure that the Made in Korea attic special they have is an Uncle Matt.
