1983 Electra X1PW Futura Guitar w/ case Cream Color Near Mint, NO RES.

This should be an interesting one to watch. This one still has the original data tag on the back and original case. Will make a nice addition to someones collection. Hope someone here gets her. Good Luck

I saw that one too, first auction in a while that got my attention. The Futura has the coil tap & phase push/pulls, stained fretboard and same pickups as the Endorsers have. Serial number indicates a June 1983 build (good year!) and has the very breifly used 'Bird' Electra Logo.

Sticker on back is way cool, didn't know these had bone nuts, much hipper than plastic or nylon. R.L. on the setup sticker is Employee Rene Lopez (not quite Tadeo Gomez at Fender, but cool just the same). I'm not big on weird body shapes, but if I was this would be a nice addition. Bidding is up to $100 already, if someone here picks it up, tell us how she plays. Mike.

Well the Pearl Futura went for $335 on eBay, not sure if that's a record or not, but it is a very clean example with original case and cool info sticker on the back. If someone here picked it up or bid on it, tell us about it!
