The usual, I'd like to hear what you guys think of this offering. Its condition, if its original, how prevalent or rare...

Here's the model info page for her...a 2270c...very cool semi-hollow tele copy. Made sometime between '72 and '75.

Don't know how rare it is, but I haven't seen many of these on the 'Bay, for what that's worth. Does look like it has a fair amount of playing wear on the neck. I'd be curious about the condition of the frets. Bridge a little rusty, not a big deal....couple bumps and bruises here and there, which is pretty hard to avoid with guitars of this age. The mark on the pickguard might just rub out, maybe not, hard to tell. Personally, I don't think the case looks original, but then, I don't know nearly as much about this stuff as most of the guys around here. One or more of which will be along soon I imagine to clear this up.. ;)

One thing I do know is that I'm considering throwing my hat in the ring on this one too. Will have to see what happens with it in the next couple of days though. Something tells me it will go sky high soon...

Well, my thin line has 2 humbuckers and a natural finish and is one of the smoothest guitars I,ve played. the neck is a little smaller than a strat or a LP. I,ve heard that some folks think the F hole does nothing for sound but I disagree. (least ways on mine) It has a warmer tone on the neck and still has some bite on the bridge.

I hope who ever gets this one enjoys it as much as I have mine.

Once again I am surprised at the apparent strength of the current batch Electra guitar auctions.

I won this one. Thought I was going to get it in the 2' to mid 3's. In the last 30 seconds it got bid up $150, 4 bids, both by Ebayers with substantial feedback.

There was a total of 9 bidders and 14 bids overall.

I really believe these guitars are getting recognized for their high quality and unique place in guitar lore.

I know some of you guys are surprised at the prices, I believe these guitars will only appreciate over time.
