Thats a no go I think. Fuzz is a little weak for me. I prefer the crunch channel on my Peavey Triumph 60 or a good ole Boss Fuzz pedal. Thats just my humble opinion.

The Dynamic Fuzz is what they should have marketed as a 'Power Overdrive'. I'll have to get my volt/ohm meter out one of these days and take some measurements, but my DF puts out probably 3-5 times the output of a Power Overdrive module, which is what you're hearing as distortion, your amps preamp being big time overdriven. I prefer it to the common Power Overdrive.

I couldn't tell you how a Solid State amp reacts, but a Tube amp will start to breakup early with one of these, and eventually you enter into Harmonic Heaven when turned all the way up. I find myself wondering if any damage to the amp can occur, but so far so good, although Mesa amps are built pretty stoutly.

I'm still wondering how the 'Frog Nose' (or is it Frog Noise, or Mini Amp?) works... if it's powerful enough to drive a pair of headphones, you'd think it would be too hot a signal for your amplifier, but they state in the documentation that you can plug it directly into your amp...
