Anyone looking for a (almost) matched pair? Pretty cool stuff. The X149's are considered rarer than the X150 active laminate, although they do pop up from time to time. This is one of the last ones, with the string through body, 'Bird' logo and tiny dots on the fretboard. Doesn't show the serial number, but it's from 1983 I would say. Looks straight and seller says it has low hours.

The X635's only have one pickup, but I like the look of the laminated center sandwich and lack of pickguard. This is the blonde version, which is thought to be rarer than the dark stained version. Anyone get a fat tax return? Cheers, Mike.
