Needs some electronic work, nothing major, seems to be pretty much stock, even has the model sticker and the 'leaf' truss rod cover on it still! This is the blonde cousin of my 'Buck Owens' special, which to the untrained eye seems like just another Tele copy, but these are 24.5" scale and have very slim necks unlike most Fenders. The stock pickups are fairly unremarkable, but if you're looking for an inexpensive couch or bedroom guitar, these are hard to beat. Opening bid under $50, go crazy! Mike.

Well the 2248 'project' ended up going for over $200! Yikes. I figured it would go for $80 or so. Anyone here buy or bid on it? Still would beat the snot out of any squier or equivalent copy. There's one on Gbase, but the dealer wants 4 bills for it without a case (hey didn't they come with a case?).

I was going to bid, but it went over my budget. But then, that's not too hard.....

I was watching it, but was willing to spend that on it. To many projects sitting around already.
