Looks like all you need to do is put the pieces back together (and touch up that buggered spot on back (not too big a deal unless it is like 1/4" deep gash or something - dark wood so just fill and stain to match). It is missing a tuner but you would probably want to replace these with a nice set of Schaller or Gotoh tuners anyway.

I'd get into the fray but will be on the road on vacation right about "Crunch Time" and I do not do the "Snipe" thing so will have to pass this one up.

I am thinking the bidding frenzy will push this way beyond what I would want to pay anyway.

How does somebody get ahold of something in that shape anyway? Got swapped for a skateboard?

May pay around $400 for one that is in perfect, playable condition but would have to see it in person, examine it, play it, Etc.

This is way too much for something that may have some hidden issues. Why was this guitar dismantled in the first place?

Like I say, the bidding frenzy sometimes gets the best of you. Some Ebayers like to dismantle the guitar and parcel them out on different auctions because they can make more on the sum of their parts. I call them "Guitar Butchers".

At least this person had the decency to keep everything together so the new owner has the opportunity to restore this to its former glory!

One went a few weeks ago for $355 in good shape. I think you're right on about the price.
