Finally - found an Electra X330 with black speed knobs - just like mine was when I bought it new in 1979;

This guitar needs some work, and would make a great axe for someone - right now it is still reasonable;

This appears to be an early 1977 model with plastic nut and no brass sustain block under the bridge,

and the pick guard looks like it's been changed;

I exchanged the gold speed knobs from my X340 with the black ones on the X330;

IMO the black ones look better on the X340 - with the black 5 way switch and pickup rings.

Most X330's that I have seen have the gold knobs on them - except for this one and also mine originally.
