What a waste, took out all the original electronics but finish is not to shabby.

That's a crime. And routed out for a center pickup means it can never be restored. I wonder what abomination is beneath the control cavity plate. It can't be pretty.

It used to be a X250, not a X270 (take my word for it), not that it makes much difference now. Don't believe the description, except for the tuners and brass back plates, I don't see anything original. The bridge is not right (has the retainer spring), the plastic nut, the knobs, even the truss rod cover are all unoriginal.

It probably plays just fine, but its a shame to see an early preamp guitar like this gutted. Mike.

Well it ended up going for $167 before shipping. Someone must have seen something in it. I paid just a little bit more for a completely stock one with a case two years ago. Maybe the brand is picking up some street cred.
