These models available at Guitar center now:

http://used.guitarcenter.com/usedgear/index.cfm

Do a National search for Electra and the 2254 will show up in Arlington, TX, the X340 is in Indiana, and the X720 in Knoxville, TN.

Here goes my two cents worth on these.
1976 all original great - near mint $500+shipping
X340 MPC good original condition with no modules or case $450+ add extra for original case and standard power overdrive/phaser modules If module and case included and all in original working order then $550 or higher for a good one.You may finf these models cheaper but not for a nice one as they are both seen but not as much or as often in original good condition. Just my opinion as they have been cheaper in the past. You may want to reference the list by Pro Endorser to see past sales on ebay viewtopic.php?f=39&t=3925

I don't have the 340 yet but I do have hopes of finding a nice one.....that's about what I'm expecting to have to pay.

Also several other various Electra products out there...any takers? Please buy these guitars so I don't get tempted. They seem to be fairly priced.

I have bought used stuff from GC previously with success. Usually it is a good idea to call the store manager directly to make the purchase and arrange shipping.

I clicked "Buy" on the Phoenix X165PW but was given a contact form. Hopefully they contact me and *then* I will buy!

Don't wait on them to contact you, they won't. Better call the store and deal directly with one person.

They must have a go-getter on staff because the kid just emailed me!

Hopefully it will be on the way today.

He got me a shipping quote ($15!) and then told me the thing had just sold.

Isn't it wonderful to have your hopes smashed? That's a bummer Jack.
