Obviously these are never going to sell at the prices listed. I am thinking of buying all three just so I do not have to look at the same lame auctions that are going nowhere every day. I mean if you really want to sell something, you have to find a price buyers are willing to pay, otherwise you have a museum display.

I agree. There are always listings that seem to stay around forever. There is also a super pro slimline and a X410(listed as Elvin) and other malingerers around that should go away also. If it does not sell after re-list then that should be a bell ringer to lower price or just put make offer and accept a decent offer when it shows up.

The Dan Armstrong is an Electra - I remember seeing some of them in a music store back in the day alongside the real Dan Armstrongs. Another nice "lawsuit" model. This one and the one below are both languishing on eBay now for prices that are too high.

Dan Armstrong copies:

Jead...their "two months of research" failed. This lucite is not an Electra, nor is it an Ibanez, or Univox...the second one is an Electra, however.....non original.

The first one is not badged anything.

The Electra script logo is inlaid pearl within the headstock veneer.

I agree. The prices are getting to high for some of these guitars. Its been said before that most guitars that have huge prices, RARE!!!! and the ever popular gutted and refreshed with a pro set up are not worth $700 + dollars or more. There are scratches, dings, repaired necks and more.

Dont get me wrong now, If the right one ever comes up I'll pay what I feel its worth to me. But for the big money, it better be as mint as the day it hung in the store window.

And yes, I know. That means theres more for the rest of you.
