:x :x :bawl: I hate to see a good guitar wasted and this is a prime example. This is a very early open book headstock(also has early screw post MPC cover) X340 MPC that has been gutted and setup like a LP configuration. The MPC is what made these unique guitars unique so I have never understood why someone wants to rip out all the MPC wiring just to make it setup like a LP. Yes thes are great players and sound great but why rip out the soul of the guitar>? If I wanted an LP style setup in an Electra there are plenty of LP style models. Maybe it was just the fact that these were lighter due to the MPC cavity maybe. If I wanted a LP style setneck I would go with the Omega line. Maybe this one can be saved. I hope so.

Relisted for $599.00 ..................

This needs to be resurrected but not at that price.

The $400 it was briefly listed at is also a tough number to start with. That guitar needs a lot of work. Complete re-wire, rotary switch, MPC guts, tuners, pickups, pickguard and some minor body damage to boot. Even if I had the parts I wouldn't put them into that shell. My guess is that one will live out the rest of its life as it is. Too bad.

I don't think they will find any buyers at that price. Would be great to see it saved but would need to sell around $100-$150 or less to offset the time and materials needed to restore it.
