I agree that this one is late 70's or so. Looks like a hagstrom style body.

Looks like a 60's Kawai build to me. Interesting hardware, and I like that case.

Interesting. So Electra was built by other houses as well.... or someone put a sticker on the headstock???

the early PCM Electras like this one were more like the Tiesco/Kawaii made instruments of the era... more budget consious than quality concious... but there were still some nice examples... just not built to the same standards as the later SLM/Mat builds.

Some of the Kawai guitars are real nice. I have a buddy who bought a new Kawai baby grand piano in about 1983 - beautiful then and sounds even better now.

Never seen one like it before, if anyone is interested, I could act as Liaison. I think Paul said these were from 1967 or 1968 when he posted his thread about his Hagstrom lookalike. PCM all the way.
