I had seen this one in the past and requested info. This is a nice guitar with a professional repair to the seperation at the neck. Looks all original and even has 2 pickguards if I remember correctly. Good Luck J.D.

What did he tell you about that fretboard separation, Arthur? It's indicative of a twist and 70's/early 80's glueing techniques/materials.

If that area was repaired, there's still separation to be seen. With fresh repair....it'll be difficult to close that gap.

May need a bit of repair - but that is one pretty guitar. It's got a real nice flame to it.

It was indeed a standard seperation from glue materials etc. The music shop that had it had their luthier repair it in house so it should be a solid repair. Overall it is in very nice condition other than that repair. all original to include the clear pickguard and an additional tort pickguard also. I almost got it but lost the auction in the last few min of auction. These play very nice as I have scored the one that Leia had here on the forums and the one that is in the forum pics. The maple flame on these looks nice also. Good Hunting.Arthur

I see his most recent feedback as a seller was negative, but one of my buyers is on the list and gives him very good feedback -- kinda sux how one negative can bring rating down so - and from the comment from another buyer about instantly fixing a problem, I wouldn't be surprised if the negative buyer didn't even try to work anything out - that's happened to me twice !!

I missed out on that darn thing. I was in the process of snipin it...and my eBay timed out on me and the login page popped up with 6 seconds to go. I did email the guy but he hasn't responded yet. Oh well....amateurs !

EDIT....He just responded. He wants 800.00 for the guitar.
