how many of you buy off ebay just based on the title....?

yeah, that's what I thought....

my original listing. (I did mess up and post the wrong picture, but corrected it...)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0686209412

I couldn't figure out why it sold as high as it did with multiple people bidding on it, so I asked the winner why... apparely he just buys off the title...

so anyway, it's listed again, with definitel changes so no mistakes can be made...

I lowered the price t0o, and it still got a bid right away....

So this style of construction makes it impossible to repair?

I saw that mcb and was really wondering what the heck was going on. Love the paperweight pitch.

lol, I saw that module yesterday.

I admittedly don't always study the ads carefully enough before posting in the auction area..... but surely before I hit "Pay Now"

I wonder how hard it is to repair those modules. First thing that popped into my mind when I saw that was "PCB?". Gotta be. That could be a bit of a pain to fix.

I've totally redone a waxed one before but about all you could do with an epoxy one is saw off everything from the board and try and fix up the pcb and new components. But thats probably not worth it.

My fuzz one at auction was not working properly either

it's a waxed one, so I'm gonna de-wax it and fix... I've already hit the solder joints on it from the back side. seemed to maybe help a little, but somethings still bad...

of course now I've got no way to test it :)
