Wow, what's the deal with all the semis this week? This one looks pretty decent, there seems to be a multitude of small scratches but overall pretty nice. Starting price is super low and this could end up being the best value of the semi auctions this week. With the x120 out there, the various semis, and the promise of a x210 (to those of us that watch the forum) this little baby might get slightly overlooked..

Not by me - I'm willing to eat pine needles and worms for awhile. Come to Papa lil' 410.

I sure hope one of you guys come away with this one...these are tops as far as I'm concerned, with Electra semis. Gibson never built one as nice as the 410 to my knowledge.

You can substitute modern trapese parts for those pieces that are corroded. See my listing for what I did with this one:

I think that these ought to be considered "Custom Shop" guitars. I'm saying 800-850 on this one.....how bout it?

The rebuilt tailpiece looks bee-yoo-tee-full JD. Have you ever looked into re-chroming one? It might be prohibitively expensive but sometimes I'm surprised by lower anticipated costs.

I agree with your "Custom Shop" assessment. You'll be happy to know that a certain stopbar X410 is in use just about every day. In fact it rarely makes it into its case. :)

I can't even guess anymore what an ebay auction will do. :eek2:

I would like to bid on this one if there are no takers yet! Actually I already did before I saw it here on the auction watch. I,m willing to sell my CS Endorser to fund part of this 410, any parties interested give me a pm. The price will be 400, I already have a creme 45 for the neck and possible a 53 for the bridge. But to anyone bidding on the 410, I hope some here takes her home, passed one of these up a few years back and that one was mint from San fran.

Thanks Tim Sr.
Somebody out there is attempting to thwart my pure and righteous (yet completely selfish) bids. My fury stirs. This could be a bitter and bloody battle. I shall prepare accordingly. Does anyone have a good recipe for worms? Maybe a stir fry?

Heck I might make a run for that Leslie West if everyone's attention is on this Jazz Strad...

I'm multitasking but already owning a 410, my emphasis will remain on Les.

Well it looks like I picked a good time to have my egas in remission with all these temptations around. I think this is a nice one but will go higher for certain. Good Luck to all.
