The earlier bolt on 335 copy models don't fetch the high price tag I see the Burgandy Pro's going for so what would be a good deal on this 2221 for example?

The bolt necks are true hollowbodies, that's why the bridge is a floating type, and not anchored like a semi. The problems I hear are that the neck pocket often warps, leaving you with really high action, and most of the remedies are expensive. I think you'd want to play these types of guitars before buying to make sure the action is ok, as opposed to taking a leap of faith in a eBay type auction.

I think $350 is fair if it plays ok. The electronics are kind of primitive on these, so keep that in mind, some of the pickups are Single coils in wide housings. The one you reference has got a real bigsby on it, which would be a add on, but more valuable than the original tailpiece. Good luck.
