Yes but it does not look to bad and looks like it is functional.

Don't know what's going on with this-seller stopped auction with only hours to go,restarted as one day auction? Something fishy is afoot, was going to bid but this may keep me away....... :mad2:

Shot him an email, said ebay pulled it for "telecaster"- never had them pull any of mine for "tele" or "telecaster",just Gibson model names but who knows.......might stick with it

Ebay will pull listings for "Stratocaster", "Telecaster", "Les Paul", "copy", and other terms IF someone reports the listing -- I see many listings with terms I've been pulled for that don't get pulled......I just has one ended a coupole of weeks ago, a '77 Takamine that I listed as having a "Martin-style" headstock....go figure...

Two hours to go on this one. I've been looking for a 2270 thinline for quite some time, but this has scared me off. It's not the replaced bridge assembly, although that is cause for concern. My hesitation is the admission by the seller that the zero fret has been filed and the nut raised. That messes up the scale by about a quarter of an inch... which doesn't seem like much until you start trying to play the darn thing. Currently it's at $235 with shipping, which will probably jump up to 3 bills at auction end. As much as I want one of these, I'll have to pass.

You were right on Mike. It went for $303.33.

Am I ever glad I held off on this one.

A much nicer one from a very reputable source became available and it will undoubtedly be in much nicer condition with fewer questions surrounding it.

You'll see...

:D

just need to tune it at the 12th fret, and never play any open strings :)

Yeah, that'll work. :eek2:

Well, let me just say that the video feed of EF'12 wasn't the only place for action last weekend. Joe and myself were able to get a little horse tradin' done. While it may not be this particular Tele model it is still going to do just fine... :hyper:

That point you all in the right direction?

Anyone catch this listing last night?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Electra ... 345wt_1105

Well I did. I've been looking for a 2270 for a while and took the plunge with this ones 'Buy-it-now' price. I tell you next week when it shows up. The one above went for over $300 with the wrong bridge and monkeyed-with zero nut, I think this one is much nicer and only $50 more. I've seen these thinlines go for upwards of $600 before, so I thought $410 shipped was pretty reasonable. Mike.

nice. I saw it last night, then when I went to check the pictures out, I had to go to the completed auctions so I knew someone had snagged it quickly

So you are the one who grabbed it. I did see it, but only for an instant until it showed up in the completed auctions area. I am glad that someone here grabbed it. Even better that it was you Mike. I remember talking about Thinlines at the fest this year.
