I don't recall seeing anything like this in the old catalogs...
Is this someone's home luthier project or was this actual issue?

It was, is, and will be a project. That popped up a couple times in the recent past. I think I remember a neck for sale...that never sold. That could be where it went.

Anyway....it looks kinda good.....BUT....look closely at the neck joint on the rear....and the string alignment over the end of the neck near the neck HB.
