I am interested in one of these bass guitars and like this color. I would really like one in a bit better shape than this one as the frets have a bit of wear, but is this normally price range for one of these? Do not know my prices at all. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1983-Electra-X- ... 1141837570

Most Phoenix basses are a great value for the money. The painted x630 and x635 series are generally the lowest in price. I have seen them go for $100-250 range. The laminated natural wood and the later x650 tend to go a little higher and the x640 active basses along with the x695 with the fret less and fretted necks seem to be the top end of the price range of Phoenix basses.

This bass that you have posted about in my opinion is at a price that is too high for the market. We will be glad to point you in the right direction. A great place to start is in the members only area of this site. Some of our members have collected sale prices from eBay etc for all of the models and put that data in a sales spreadsheet.
