Every few days I get on Craigslist and search on "Electra." I was excited tonight to see not one, not two, but three ads pop up! Then I realized that somehow I was on the Denver pages, not DC... (I'm also looking for a piano, and tend to search a little wider, so I must have last looked at one on Denver's pages).

Anyway, they're listed as follows:

• 1984 MIJ Electra Westone Dynasty Guitar W/OHSC - $475
• Crate Electra Guitar - $100 (but it's a bass--looks like a P-Bass clone)
• Crate Electra Solid Body Electric Guitar 3 Tone Sunburst - $150

I tell you what... the strat copy looks tempting, but mainly 'cause it reminds me of a Kramer Focus I had many moons ago! Any thoughts on the quality of this model?

That's probably a little expensive for a modified Dynasty, eh; that bridge is not OEM and as I recall from Westone, retro-fitting a FR to a Bendmaster can be fraught with difficulty if not done with precision and care...

In fact, I'm quite sure that they had a Tekglide trem and retrofitting a FR to one of those was a major chore.... and there's no stringlock.
