From the listing:

1976 Electra MPC X330 made at the Matsumoku factory in Japan. This is from the first year these were made, the only year with the Gibson open book headstock. Solid mahogany body, flamed maple top, real abalone inlays, set neck, Dimarzio PAF Pro bridge pickup, Seymour Duncan 59 in the neck. Everything is solid, frets still have plenty of life left, and it plays and sounds beautiful. It is missing the wiring harness for the effects modules, but I've got the wiring diagram to rebuild it. Also includes original case.

Beautiful looking MPC X330! Too bad it has had changes to it and does not not have the original parts.

You might do well to sell it outright and use that money to find you an epi casino. They don't go for much (Casinos) and you might be able to choose the casino you choose to buy. Those of us that are interested that don't own a Casino would be left scrambling looking to buy one to trade you, and that probably isn't a good idea. Might leave a person with a casino because you didn't like the color or condition.

Unfortunately, given the MPC parts are missing it is a pretty big deal to fix one of those and get the right parts. I have done it. Some guys here have done it. Buying the original parts is usually expensive. Not buying the original parts leaves you with an un-restored guitar too. So a tough situation. Non-originals are a tough sell sometimes (I know again, because I have had fixed several).

But that IS a particularly nice looking one, with a nice hardshell case too. Very nice. I have had several of those from that era over the years but I don't think any looked that nice. Good luck on your trade.

Oh, it's not mine, and I'm not interested in it. Just thought others here might be interested in it.

oh yeah, it is a beautiful guitar. Any of us that collect these would love to have one that looked like that. Looks a lot nicer than my current one.
