I just picked up a nice 2228 that's missing the bridge pickup and bridge. Anyone have spares they'd like to sell?

post up the overall dimensions, mount hole dimensions, pup hole dimensions...

they varied quite a bit in the early 70's. I have a ring and pup (missing a pole screw, but I think okay... I'll have to check) that came off an early Univox that might fit...

Here's what the existing pickup looks like:

Turns out I have the mounting ring for the bridge pickup so I just need the pickup itself.

I saw your other post with the dimensions...

I have 2 rings, a pup, and the tailpiece without the trem...
however my pup is missing a screw... I bought them a while back hoping the rings would work for my bass... they didn't. anyway, they are identical to yours, but they came off of an Epiphone EA-250 like the one below....
The pup measure 4.45k Ohm resistance, so not real hot :)
and see how your wires for the pup are right by the hole... this style pup just has lugs on the back that you solder onto, instead of having permanent leads...

also, meet a cousin....

I'll see if I can find a matching screw...

$20 shipped for the pup if interested...

The guy I purchased the Electra from found a bag with all the missing parts in it! Just a little repair work to do and it'll be complete!
