I am looking for the tension bar and mounting screws for an Electra 2259 SG style guitar. The bar is the type that is separate from the tailpiece, not part of the tailpiece (if that matters). Please contact me if you have one for sale. Thanks!

On the earliest 2259's, the bigsby is split into two pieces, I think this is what you're describing:

The separate piece between the bridge and the vibrato is what you need? Anything on eBay? The best of luck, could be a tough one to locate.

Well, no luck finding a tension bar, so I took a piece of 1/4" brass rod, tapped out the ends to fit a couple of Yamaha saxophone guard screws (I'm a woodwind repairman so I have gobs of those around) and that does the job perfectly. Not winning any beauty contests with it, but I don't care :-P
