Those are not easy to find. This is a good place to search, but also keep checking ebay. The only way those typically become available is if one gets destroyed or completely parted out. People usually ask top dollar for something like that, but if you need it - you need it - and they know that.

I usually advise not getting a stripped body unless you have the means to get the parts for the "essentials". But truthfully, that does not stop some of us on the forum. Some of us are nuts (as the preacher used to say, "when I am pointing my finger at you my thumb is pointing back at me"). If that does not work, you can possible make them or get some made. Sourcing the little hinges and such may prove difficult. One way is to cut out templates from paper or cardboard, then trace it down on some generic black plastic pickguard material you buy off of ebay. Then you can cut it out with a dremel tool or possibly a small router if you are so fortunate. I have done this, and I do an OK job, not really professional at that. But hey, once it is together 95% of us feel it is close enough, looks right, plays right and you have resurrected a great piece of Electra gear.

I have resorted to that when I really needed a part. I tried to buy a circular back cover for the back of the 5-way switch and generic ones are too small. I found one that said it was the right size, only to find when I actually got it, it was also smaller as well. So I made mine by the method above. Generic LP style pickguards can be modified usually to fit and look pretty good if you are looking for those.

There is a fellow who calls himself the "Pickguardian" here in Columbus, OH.

http://www.pickguardian.com/

If he's willing to make one for you, I'm willing to provide one of mine to him to use as a template.

Same goes for the rest of ya'll.

That is an excellent offer. That way it would be professional quality. You should consider taking up Jack's offer.
