Howdy y'all

I was hoping to find a genuine electra truss rod cover and screws for my new old 2228 (72-75) along with a pair of nuts... for the bridge... you know to adjust the action... it seems like somebody ditched them in favor of a couple of washers to lower the action.. also seems like they must have tried to adjust the truss rod. It plays pretty well and it's in absolutely beautiful condition. It looks like it's got a shim in it.. but I think we can do better. It's got the plastic rollers and the tremolo works quite well.. it has real light gauge strings on it but it holds a tune pretty good even with a beatin..... I'll post pictures once I figure it out.. thanks

And by the way.... this forum is awesome.... I have learned a lot about my new old 2228 from you guys already.
