This is my first post. I just got an MPC X-710 and need a case for it. Any ideas?

Heh, I had to say it. Most of us had no idea the cases had model numbers too, but I was looking at the catalog and noticed the number for an Outlaw case.

Well, ebay is our source for a lot of this stuff. Here's a pic that shows what they look like:



I believe the Outlaw I have has a fairly conventional case with a foam padding cut out to be the shape of the outlaw body. That's probably something you could do with a generic rectangular hard case, some hot glue and extra foam. It wouldn't be original but it would certainly protect it.

When I got my case it was because a forum regular noticed it and pointed out the auction- there was nothing that said 'Electra'; or 'Outlaw' but somehow they were looking at cases and spotted it,a nd sure enough it was an Outlaw case, even showed wear marks in the velvet where the MPC switches were.

I just got a Gator SG case online. I'll let you know how it works out.

the gator SG case works great. I had to cut some foam out near the lower bout and I keep a piece of foam under the body (near the neck joint) for support and it fits nice.
