Hey guys,

In case you have not seen my post in the General Discussion area, I just got an X710. It needs a bit of TLC, but it is solid as a rock. One of the items on the "to-do" list is to replace the broken toggle switches for the MPC effects.

They function but are broken off at where the metal insert stops inside the plastic.

If anyone has any that are laying around they can spare, or sell, please let me know.

Thanks!

Holy junk man, nice find! I think I will give these a shot. I had my first show with the Outlaw (Josey Wails as I can him, and yes the Wails is spelled that way intentionally) and switching on an off the effects without the full toggle was pretty inconvenient.

Cheers man!

Give us an update if and when you purchased these and if they indeed are the correct ones.

Thanks,

Well, I did pick them up and from a looking them over they sure seem to be the right ones. I haven't had an opportunity to have them put in yet, been too busy. It is a good kind of busy though, I am buying a house!

I plan on getting them installed in the next week or two though. I will give my Electra brethren and update as soon as I get the finished product back.

Ciao

I think I need one of these for one of my guitars.
Hooray!
I'm just too lazy to look for myself.

Glad for the feedback;
I'm going to order a few and put them away for the time I might need them;
The price is right too.

Thanks,

I installed those new Radio Shack switches today. Functionally and looks-wise, they are identical. However, installing them into the cavity required a bit of opening up as they are slightly larger and wouldn't sit straight in there. I had to take a tiny bit of material out of the corners:

I hope that helps. Other than that little bit, it was an easy swap. :)

Good job! They look like they are original.

Thanks for the update.

Thanks for the update Formula. Those look great. I have not had the opportunity to get mine put in yet, so I appreciate the heads up about the size of them.

Didn't realize just how large these are.
Definitely won't fit my Phoenix.
