Just got in an X-150 and is missing these "long shot" items:

- The three brass knobs on the volume and tone controls. If someone has them or knows of a good source for something very close let me know.
- Missing the brushed metal back plate covering the battery compartment - a gold (annodized?) color.
- Brass nut seems to have been replaced by a plastic or similar one.

I know these parts are a long shot - but hey, you never know! :D

I was given a couple of tips to follow up on -
One was I looked up armadillo knobs, and they make some that look spot on, but it would cost me $60 for them! That is a lot for just some knobs. I did a search for them online, some used ones under the usual suspects - and found nada right now. I have found some cheaper ones I am willing to try that look close (but don't cost $60!). I still would love to get the right ones. Keep an eye out for me. These were used on the bases a lot too, but I think they generally only used 2 knobs - I need 3.

I also found a source for a brass nut that looks to be identical to the ones I have on my other Electras (although those were MPC style guitars I think the brass nut is the same). I sent the seller a specific question, and if he answers correctly I'll order it. I found two sources actually, one is spot on, the other looks a little like an upgrade (fancier, smoother shaped and polished brass). And not at break the bank prices (not cheap, but not ridiculous).

On the battery cover. I found a place that does anodized parts, but they only work in black anodized aluminum. I also located another place called Anotone in Chicago that does some really cool anodized pickguards and parts (really cool stuff!) - so I will send a photo and check with them. I know they can do it, but again, may be an expense issue. Sure would be great to find one (probably darned near impossible). I might be stuck with painting one I could make in plastic to be "close". If by any miracle anyone knows of or has a gold anodized battery cover, let me know please.

These three things, and this would be in very collectible condition. It isn't bad now - but with these details it sure would elevate it a notch.

I wound up finding replacement parts or making them. I made a back cover out of plastic and sprayed it to match. I found replacement knobs that were close enough to the originals. If someone has an originals for sale cheap then let me know, but otherwise I am done with this - Thanks.
