been busy with this lately.....



that's what it looked like when I drug it home from a few houses away

1972 Chevy 3/4 ton 4wd. with a 4" lift

I got it running only to discover it really needed an engine so I decided to just make it a driver.... fairly rare around my area these days... especially a 4wd...

So far:
new GM Goodwrench crate 350 with 250 hp
added Holley 600 cfm carb
tranny flushed.
transfer case fully resealed
newbrakes front and rear
new gas tank
new seat cover
jy hood, tailgate, steering wheel, door weatherstrip
dida little bit of floor patching.
added mirrors
picked up some skinnier wheels, and will put some slightly skinner tires on eventually.
also just ordered new shocks for it...

That's beautiful, make sure you get pics of it finished.
I would've opted for more power, but with gas these days, it wouldn't be too practical in a truck.

Anyhow, hope yu get it how it should be.
BTW, you plan on lowering it or just keeping the suspension height as is?

So is this your excuse for not having an Electra bass at the moment?

I go with BeatenPhoenix, more hp. Hell my Subaru has more hp than that.

I was contemplating de-lifting it, but with the 4.10 gears and the lift, the 33" tires fitnicely andwill help with highway driving.....

it'll be the tow rig for my OffRoad Subaru Brat w/5" lift.

I just sold a '97 Ouback that had a custombuilt turbo engine swapped into it....

and I will shortly have an Electra bass back in my hands. onejust like my first Electra Bass. a Sunburst Jazz. Not sure If I'll sell the Westone or not then.....
