I have a Aria Pro II TS400, and it's by far the guitar that fits me best. I love everything about this guitar, and I'm actually considering finding another or the next step up in the TS line.

Here's the question I've got for those who know these great guitars so well: What Electra/Phoenix model has the same features: 24 fret, set neck or neck through, two humbuckers with coil taps (a phase switch would be a plus too), and slim neck profile.

I've lusted for an X420, and might still try and get one, but I just love that TS400.

Any and all comments appreciated.

My suggestion would be: http://www.rivercityamps.com/electrapag ... 123-111028

or the active version:http://www.rivercityamps.com/electrapage/comments.php?y=08&m=01&entry=entry080123-111504

But he is looking for set neck / neck thru guitar. Maybe an x199, it is set neck but it has a single pickup to go with the 2 HB pickups. I'm not sure how many frets it has though. If you must have only 2 HB and a set neck you might have to look outside the Phoenix line. Maybe an Omega, x250, x260, x270 or an Endorser (x935).

Interesting, my APII TS350 is my go to guitar. I don't think any Electra has quite the same features. The Vantage VP line is close. That said the TS line tend to go for less than the Vantage or the more comparable Electra's. Me I would look for another TS.

To my recollection, no Electra's were made with 24 frets, and the only neck-throughs would be the Outlaw series (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). On a 22 fret guitar, the Neck pickup is usually right under the 2nd octave harmonics, and elongating the fretboard changes that pickup location. Just food for thought. Good luck!
