Now that I've got a very nice Semi Hollow with a perfectly small neck (see X810 topic in main Forum), I'm gonna sell my seldom used Michael Kelly 335:

Not that anyone here would be interested!!! Enjoy, Mike.

I want a hollowbody but $375 is out of my budget.
Looks nice, though.

Nice ad, girlyman. :D

Yeah she looks great, just plays like a dog. The 'woofy' pickups and huge neck have kept me from getting attached, so I'm a lettin' her go... no regrets. I've already got two calls local on it, so looks like it'll go pretty quick, maybe I should have asked for more! Really I'm just washing my hands of it and trying to offset some of the costs of the X810.

I probably could have got more on eBay, but I'm just not in the mood to wrestle with shipping, paypal and eBay costs, etc. Craigslist is starting to be my 'go to guy' for selling junk. And $375 is way cheap for any Semi Hollow (not to mention one as dressed up as this one is), it's just a more time consuming, higher skilled type of guitar to build. I have a feeling we'll be hearing about you snagging one for 80 bucks sometime in the future though!

Truthfully, I don't mind paying fair market for something, there's a story on here about a guy playing hard ball at a yard sale for an Endorser, got the guy to sell it to him for $200... I don't know if there is such a thing as Karma, but lifes too short to take advantage of people. There's an old saying "you can either eat well, or sleep well" I'd rather sleep well.

I saw an Electra semi-hollow (the green model) for $150 but it wa gutted of electronics. It was in brand new shape, still had tuners nad a bridge, so probably okay if I found some decent electronics.

Those 'greenies' I think are fully hollow (anyone?) and while they may be playable instruments, are not even in the same league as the Later Matsumoko made Semi's. $150 sounds a bit high for a project, and I would not envy the guy who has to get in there to wire a hollow body, but who knows maybe it would be a diamond in the rough...

I too would advise skipping on this one. The early MIJ hollowbodies frequently have neck pocket issues, non-standard pickup and/or pickup ring sizes and other probems.
