Well, I knew John Rzeznik bought one of my amps several years ago from Guitar Emporium in Louisville, KY. I never heard from him and it didn't really surprise me. But he had an online interview on UlitimateGuitar.com on October 10th that he specifically mentions this amp. It was in the context of talking about their new album and what amps he liked and recorded with - so it makes me believe it may have found its way onto the new record. Incidentally, someone started marketing an inexpensive solid state amp they are calling a lunchbox. Too bad. I had the name first. But now it cheapens my amp to be confused with that one, so I will likely change the name. Anyhow, here is the section from ultimate guitar:

Were there any particular pieces of gear you really dug?

One of the amps that we used a lot was this Park amp; it was a 2x12 combo but, man, it is the greatest rock amp ever.

What songs did you use the Park on?

Dude, I can’t remember; it was almost everything. And we used an old Fender Bassman on a lot of stuff. And an old 50-watt JCM800 and a couple of crazy boutique amps; I found these really bizarre boutique amps. This guy has this company called River City and he made an amp called the Lunchbox and that thing was like the dark horse. I almost gave it away to a friend of mine and then I just plugged it in one day to a 4x12 and went, “Oh, my god.”

Anyhow, I am thrilled that he specifically mentions one of my amps. And along with some vintage Marshall, Park, and Fenders - not bad company at all. I am honored that he can play anything he wants, and can even get PAID to play certain gear, but he chooses to play an amp made by me. I am certainly glad he chose to plug it into a good cabinet. That amps sound AMAZING through a good 4x12 (recently played it through one with 4x12 V30s in it and it screams).

Thought about it. I just got a new vid camera so it may be a possibility now. That particular amp I used to buy my chassis from a supplier that has since folded so I don't have a source for chassis. But I can build it in a standard marshall head style chassis easily enough (and I have for some customers).

I need to get someone that can really play tear into it and put that on the net. There have been a few amp clips to surface. The healing sixes did a couple clips in Indianapolis at the 500 stage a while back with one. One is a pink floyd cover (done by a french speaking reporter on the 500 that cuts to the band about 45 seconds into the video), and the other is them on the stage. One has the amp beaming the camera too, so the guitar is heard very well (cameras don't often provide the best mix). Eric kicks in a wah and it really cuts through the mix. Great band!

Are you taking volunteers? I'll put one through its paces on video... that is if you think I can really play! A truly humble, Mike.
