I recently bought this Epi knowing zip about it or playing Banjo for that matter. To my surprise it turns out to be a Matsumoku. Pretty cool I thought......

The catalog page image came from the Matsumoku.org site. I'm pretty happy about it as I think the woods used by Uncle Mat have always been top quality.

The big block tuners are fairly unusual for this model but good.
