My first good electric was an Electra......joined the Forum 3 years ago because I had a cool Electra on eBay (not to mention my first good....loved em ever since).....met some REALLY nice folks, got great info, laughed a lot....and my guitar business has flourished. I'm getting close to my dream of opening a vintage store here in Lubbock. You guys (and you know who you are, all over the world) have all been so very kind and that has been very encouraging.....and I just wanted to say "Thanks" Strangely enough, I've made a very small return on the Electras and Mats I've sold - I do these because, well, did I mention my first..... and now the shameless self-promotion: my eBay store is Twisted Serpent Music...increasing inventory of vintage parts -- and some cool guitars Luv youse guys........ |

You have been a good source for information too, clearly a benefit to this community. Let us know when the store opens, I have a guitar playing friend near Lubbock. |

Dr. Dave, I've been watching your ebay account for a while. I'm consistently impressed by the range of interesting vintage instruments and parts you have available. If you had a real store, I'd love to come hang out for a while. Best of luck, sir. |

You have always had great quality instruments and I am glad to hear you are doing well. Best of Luck with the store and hope I can make it out some day to check it out in person. |

Are you going to continue having barely clothed women modeling your items for sale? That's a tough grind trying to make money selling gear, best of luck Dave. |

Good luck Dave. Too bad Lubbock is so far from Detroit, but if I make it down that way I would stop in. |
