I got 4% back from my purchase and a $10 gift card for shopping at GC through Ebates. It's a Target gift card, although you can pick other gift cards. No gimmicks.

Ebates made me skeptical at first (my nature). BUT... if you go onto Ebates, sign up, then click on Guitar Center or Musicians Friend, you'll get 4% cash back from Ebates on your GC purchase. Seriously, no gimmicks. Also works with Music 123 and a couple others. And the gift card for first time sign up purchases.

Just helping us out! If you already shop there, then do Ebates and get something back from it. Just bought a computer with Best Buy, went through Ebates and got money back, too. Pretty cool.
