One of the Electra players (modified x610/620 Outlaw bass) has sadly succumbed to leukemia cancer.

He will be missed. I Started listening to Yes as a teen after hearing my friend play Round About after he returned from a guitar lesson.

yeah, I nearly flipped when I heard "tempus fugit" in 1980. I could not get over that song. Also, if you want an excellent look at "that" bass look up the tempus fugit original video from 1980 on youtube. He plays it throughout the video. I wonder if he recorded the song with that bass as well? Also, anyone have a straight answer on what all he did to it? Anyhow, that started me looking back and buying up every Yes album I could get my hands on (working backwards). So sad he is gone. He really revolutionized the bass in my eyes. He often played the melody with the bass and the guitar would be backup, played a lot like the keyboard (or directly with the keyboard in particularly great timing). Anyhow, Squire completely blew my mind I can tell you that. Howe really rocked it seemed with a lot more distortion on that recording too, but it sounded great (still sounds like Howe) - he shreds (again, with a keyboard shredding along too, in perfect timing). Wow. Still excites me hearing it again after about 35 years. So sorry he has passed. But Anderson is not healthy enough and replaced, and squire now gone - my understanding they were touring with Billy Sherwood. Wow, I don't think there could be a Yes without both Squire and Anderson, even with Howe (who is absolutely fantastic in my eyes).
