Went to Sonic Temple in Columbus Ohio this weekend. Had a blast. Saw Disturbed, Papa Roach, In this Moment, The Struts, lamb of God, Avatar, Joan Jett and the Black Hearts, Foo Fighters, System of a Down, Hale Storm, Black Label Society, Bad Flower, Parkway Drive, Bear Tooth, Ghost, Bad Wolves, The Jack's, Wage War, Black Coffee, Gojoria, The Cult, While she Sleeps, Architects, Killswitch Engage, Andrew Dice Clay, Pauly Shore, The Glorious Son's and The Interrupters. Not all in that order and that's just the band's I got to see in the 3 day's I was there. This was our family vacation. Had a great time. It takes a little planning and forethought but it was great. Weather did close down one of the smaller stages and bumped about 5 band's from the other 2 stage's on Sunday but the show finished up with Joan Jett and the Black Hearts and Foo Fighters.

Did you catch any guitar picks? That is my new obsession (easier to carry picks past the wife than another Electra).

No, we were always to far away from the stage. You had to have a field ticket, an actual bracelet with a chip in it that you had to scan to get on the main stage field. Smaller stages were packed as well. They do have the Music Experience tent. Has every guitar maker ( almost), with a display of guitars, choice of amps and picks everywhere. I waited 15 minutes but every 15 yr old at the event was there shredding so I went to the custom counter where they were hand painting name brand killer guitars and giving them away. 10 dollars got you 7 chances. I didn't win but it was cool to watch. Think I saw an Electra on stage at some point during the weekend.
