Lot's of talk about prices. Let's talk some guitar! Here are pics of the new Omega in my rig. Ben asked me to take the Omega for a spin, and it has quickly become one of my favorite guitars. I'm biased on the business side, but when it comes to playing, I'm not. Some things I really like about it......
- The TonePros/Kluson Deluxe Tuning Machines absolutely destroy anything I own from Fender, Gibson, Ibanez, or Schecter. It stays in tune better than anything I've played.
- The Magnaflux pickups don't mud out. Awesome cleans and the bridge has a very cool sonic snarl to it. I've found very good tone selection from the bridge, neck or combined.
- When I change the strings, I don't have to re-engineer my bridge settings. The TonePro bridge and locking stop tailpiece stay in place.
- The sculpted heel is a huge design plus (comparison to a similarly priced Ibanez below). I have always preferred double cutaways for fretboard access but this design has made me forget about that.
- Can't really see it in the images, but the GraphTech Tusq nut is class. I've got 2 USA SG's and the nut is like flimsy plastic compared to this. Functional too.

I wanted to pass this along with some photo's.

I'm all for it, thanks for the review. Marketing vs. real life are often different worlds, so a players review like this is great to hear. Good guitars will be show themselves for what they are, I hope to play (or own) one someday. I hope these take off so that we can see other models become available.

Plus it can only generate additional interest in the vintage models we all know and love so well.

Attention to build details and above value components are certainly carrying the traditional Electra mantle forward into the future.
