Hey guys, I am so happy to be apart of the Electra family..... everyone has been great and I look forward to playing Electra basses and hopefully having the chance to meet as many of the new customers and Vintage collectors as I can.... Haven't had the pleasure of playing any vintage basses but hope to have the chance at some point....if anyone has any questions for me I will be happy to answer as many as possible...
just to let everyone know that I will be at the Electra Guitars booth in Nashville in July and also in California in 2014.....hope to see everyone there....

Welcome to the forums and the joy of Electras. Will be awaiting photos of the new Electra Bass and hope to see it in action. If you ever find yourself down in South Georgia(Tifton) please feel free to stop in and give any of my Electra models a test drive. Best of Luck and Welcome. Electrafest 2013 will be held here in Tifton, Ga on July 20-21 2013 and you and all are welcome to attend and enjoy over 100 Electra models Guitars and Bass models as well.

we will soon be announcing three new guitar models and a bass at the NAMM show in Nashville, Tennessee, July 11th-13th.

Sorry for the misrepresentation. Was in a hurry and forgot those little " " things for quoting other peoples stuff. It was from the letter at the site.
But as I was saying, it might be pretty cool to see the new stuff that "Ben Chafin, President of Electra Guitars", is offering at the NAMM show.

As for the SLM, it was stamped on the truss rod cover of my new MPC in 76' when I bought it, and Ive been endorsing and promoting it ever since. As a teenager, I washed a lot of dishes to get that guitar and at 52 I have never regreted it. Its just plain cool.
