Hey everyone, new here. I have a 2254 that I got and love, I put a seymour antiquity in the bridge and am willing to part with the original maxon bridge p/u for a reasonable price, let me know, or make me an offer. I saw one on ebay for 80.00 but I was thinking a more reasonable price.

Hi Mike....welcome to the forums and to lots and lots of EGAS here. I think you should hang on that pup in order to have it available for the next person who gets ahold of your 2254. We're always looking for original parts for ones we buy which have been upgraded over the years. And, it's always nicer when one of these modifieds comes up for sale and the owner has the original parts to go with it.

I've had 2 2254s, now just the one. Pretty darn good guitars.

I agree with JD. When/If it comes time to re-sell - you'll do much better with the original pickup. I had a 2254 as well and wish I kept it. I can say that about every Electra I've had though - not a single one has been a clunker.

If you're intent on selling it you should try and post a picture.
