Haven't seen one yet on an Electra-Westone which would be 1984 so sometime in the mid to late 1985 builds I would hazard to guess.

As the scale lengths, etc. are virtually similar I don't see why one could not be retrofitted given you had all the proper parts in hand, even might work on the very early "straight vee" models. A graphite nut would almost certainly be a must I would think to allow for the fractional amount of movement the strings still have. Did any of the early Electra & Electra-Westone models have a stock plastic nut?
