X330 Electra. I do not know the year. I have heard that the first number or first two usually represent the year but mine starts with 23 so maybe 1982? I dunno. The guitar has two Super Magnaflux humbuckers.This guitar has excellent low action and plays equally, if not better than most 70s Gibsons. I do not have the effects modules or the hard shell case. The guitar has the wear and blemishes due to age but it is still a very beautiful guitar. It has been set up to be like a Gibson so the control knob controls the pickups I believe. This is how I got it and whoever did it did a wonderful job because everything works perfectly. I do love this guitar but I play more metal than anything and this doesn't suit my needs in that area. I wouldn't say it's a project guitar because It could be gigged with as is. I play it on a regular basis and quite enjoy its playability. Someone may want to tinker with it though. It also does not have the pickguard and two of the back plates are makeshift and do not fit the best but it works. $350 or will trade for a Jackson. You can email at Spineburger@gmail.com

The 5-way knob should indeed control the pickups, it sounds like yours is really all there and original (except for the control covers). It's great also to hear your good report on how playable it is, many of these are very good especially if they have been well set up and loved.

Some MPC lover out there is bound to get a good deal on this guitar. You came to the right place as far as finding it a home where it will be appreciated.

BTW- for the record, some other guitar forums discourage buying and selling talk. On the contrary, we encourage y'all to wheel and deal, so long as the dirty dealing is done in private -- but you're welcome to use PMs for that. Your own deals are your own deals, buyer beware and all, but it's great to have a forum here to discuss and ask questions. That alone is worth a fair value above what you'd deal with buying it unseen from some ebay seller.
