i have 3 vintage electras for sale or trade for vintage ibanez guitars. i have 2 mpc's- an X310 and an X350 in newer cases and a jazz bass in the beat original case. they are all 3 in very good ++ condition. i also 3 modules-fuzz,phase and overdrive. i can't figure out how to upload pics so msg me if you're interested and i can email them. i'm not sure what years they are but the serials are X310-16175, X-350- 23595, jazz bass-none.

i know you guys must think i'm crazy but the electras just don't suit me like the old ibanez stuff. right now i have 3 of each and would rather have 6 ibanez's or cash is cool too! offers?

Ibanez made some absolute killer guitars around the same time as the wave Electra's. They also made a ton of mediocre guitars. It sort of pains me to say it but my '79 Ibanez 2619 Artist is the best electric guitar I own. Still, even with new trend of higher prices, Electra's remain the best value on my planet for guitars.

No hijack of the thread intended but;

Previously posted:

I sold this 1979 Ibanez Musician MC300NT in 2009 - I was the original owner - I think maybe I should have kept it -
I had bought it new back in the day .......... it was really too heavy to play for more than a few songs in a set at gigs.

My first electric was an MC300 stolen from my car trunk in NYC in the spring of '80 I believe. I still haven't gotten over it.

As for weight - denser wood, better hardware, sustain blocks, ebony fretboards etc. can end up adding 2 or 3 lbs pretty quick. All those things are worth it to me so in the end I know I'll be weighing in around 10 lbs.
I wonder how effective these things are?????

They've come out with a bunch of studies on students concerning wearing backpacks only over one shoulder, vs both straps, and it's much better on your back to use both. You may not notice a difference with the strap, but I bet in the long run your back would like you better for it. Then again, a guitar strap sits differently than a backpack strap, so that throw out the whole comparison :toopid:

Also, sorry to hear about your mc300 :(

One word (Ibanez) and the entire thread gets hijacked...

Otto, post pics and asking prices if you want any genuine responses. How much does the X350 weigh? good luck.

If you use photobucket or a similar online photo service, you can upload pictures to that service - and then using the service copy picture/image link, copy and paste it into your thread here.

Pictures will get peoples attention. I 'm always interested in an X350.

Is that a Cherry Endorser I see peeking out in the X350 picture? It looks like the X350 is the real gem in this group, although the knobs are not original (not a biggie). How fat is the neck? How much does it weigh? Does it come with a case? (somebody was going to bombard you with questions...) The X310 looks well loved, maybe it plays like a champ and somebody just couldn't put it down. Good luck, Mike.

I am inappropriately aroused by the X350 and I have an Ibanez Maple Concord acoustic that needs a new home.
