I should have bought that 2270 from you when I had the chance Ozark. I like the fingerboard, it looks like this one was hard to put down, or it was formally owned by a Mechanic!

This I believe is a later version with that logo, and I don't know if they were using the 'coke bottle' shaped bridge still... any signs that the bridge isn't original? What is the scale length, because the early ones were 24.5 inch like a gibby. Good luck!

I can say that's one Electra I sold that I've regretted since, lives in Italy now!
It's the original bridge/pickup-unmolested. I've had teles with both, both obviously stock with same logo?
The scale is 24.75,familiar narrow yet comfortable neck.
Jeez Mike, now all I can think about is that extremely light and resonant 2270.......

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... true&rt=nc

The above totally chewed up 2248 went for $432 with shipping on eBay... it was poorly refinished and had many non-stock parts on it, and did NOT include a case. It did have a Gibson mini humbucker installed, but frankly those aren't anything to get too excited about.

I would say that ozarks offering is a much better example, looks stock, more attractive logo and has the original case! If you're on the fence, you should strike before Joe lists it nationally. Mike.
