i have found a 1983 electra phoenix x 199 hsh s/n 3030474. all original. guitar is good shape overall. pickup selector is frozen solid and non working. can i replace with any les paul type toggle or is there something special about stock one. ps frets are in incredibly good shape for a 30 yr old guitar pss has push pull pot on second knob. splitter for humbuckers maybe? any help in restoration appreciated. email jami9338@gmail.com

From memory, yeah; it's just a 3 way selector. All of the pots should be push-pull; coil split, middle on and phase, top to bottom.

i used this one to fix my x-150. The tip is shaped a little different but it fits the routed area on the upper bout.
