This is my first post over here but I have done a ton of deals on TGP, strat-talk, myLP, Duncan, ibanez, Gretsch ect ect..under the same user name. Ebay as well with top rated status, over 1300 feedbacks and 100% positive rating. So I am new here but not new to buying/selling/trading.

Set of late 1970's Gotoh Electra Chrome Octagon Crown head single post tuners set. They show wear ( scrapes, scratches, dings, dirt build up, some pitting ect..) But it is all honest players wear. No funny business. Pics only capture so much so expect more wear to show in person.
I buy/sell/trade/collect tuning pegs and this set is pretty nice compared to what I usually find when it comes to this type of tuner. Far from perfect, but if the tuners are the logo'd type, I never find a set where the logo's are not moderately to very worn. The finish overall is pretty good. They function smoothly and they come with their original washers and bushings.

$100 pped and shipped in the US. I am usually game for trades as well. So if you have parts you would trade don't hesitate to run them by me. Specific stuff I can use right now are tele and strat pickups, strat and tele necks

This looks like a very honest and clear ad. As a friendly comment your price looks more than a bit high to me. Two years ago I grabbed a new in box set for $30 (factory replacment?). I know that was a steel but $100 looks high. if someone is determined to restore to original you may get a buyer. Good luck and thanks for the clear and honest description.

When you find an NOS set for $30 than naturally this set is going to seem high to you.lol Plus us guitar guys always want to score stuff on the cheap. If I was a buyer looking for these tuners, I wouldn't like my price either. But with your tuners, you found a very rare deal. Both in terms of price and the fact they were NOS in the box. For the rest of us, just finding a set of these at any price takes either time and a lot of luck, or a lot of time hunting and some luck. You can sit around and wait for a price you feel like paying of course. And if you find them cheaper than more power to you. But if you are in the market for these and understand the difficulty in finding these, my price may not seem as high to that guy/gal as you. And I am reasonable. I put the trade option up there so maybe that guy or gal can score these without having to reach in their pocket at all other than shipping costs to ship whatever trade items we agree upon.

I've only seen that kind of tuner (octagon without a set screw) on the Derringer Explorer model, although it is concieveable other guitars used them. Tom Presley tells us that probably only 300 or so X910 Derringers were produced, and a good number of them have had neck breaks and probably parted out. Obviously they would work on other instruments, but finding a X910 owner looking for a set is going to be a long shot. Best of luck, Mike.
